Speech and Language Therapist

Birmingham

Up to £46,000 per annum

Term-time only with full year's pay

Spencer Clarke Group are searching for a Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of an independent school committed to providing exceptional education and support for children with ASC and SEMH ages 7- 17 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills.
• Developing and implementing personalised therapy plans to support children's communication development.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy interventions as necessary.
• Providing training and guidance to school staff on strategies to support communication needs within the classroom.
• Keeping accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience working with children with ASC and SEMH needs is highly desirable.
