You will set up and review specifications for various products, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards. The ideal candidate will have an HND or equivalent, along with relevant food hygiene certifications. Qualifications

• Ideally educated to HND level or equivalent professional qualification.
• Holds a level 2 food hygiene and a level 2 health and safety certification.
• Knowledge and experience of writing specifications for retailers.

Responsibilities

• Set up approval for external specifications in line with customer requirements.
• Review raw material specification content to develop 'gold standard' specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment policy.

Skills

Experience with computers

Knowledge of legal labelling legislation

Experience writing specifications

Education

HND level or equivalent

Level 2 food hygiene certification

Level 2 health and safety certification

Tools

Web-based customer specification systems
