Qualifications

• Educated to HND level or equivalent professional qualification.
• Holds level 2 food hygiene and health and safety certifications.
• Experience in writing specifications for food manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Set up approval for external specifications based on customer requirements.
• Review copy artwork for accuracy according to labelling policies.
• Document procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review raw material specifications to develop compliance guidelines.
• Validate specifications and processes for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment policies.

Skills

Experience with food specifications

Knowledge of legal labelling legislation

Computer proficiency

Experience using web-based customer specification systems

Education

HND level or equivalent professional qualification

Level 2 food hygiene certification

Level 2 health and safety certification
