The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Rainscreen Cladding will involve:

  • Field-based specification sales promoting high-end rainscreen cladding systems, facades, and masonry.
  • Winning and tracking specifications (commercial projects), developing strong relationships with architects, specifiers, and design-led practices.
  • Delivering RIBA-accredited CPD presentations to secure early-stage specifications.
  • Targeting projects in the commercial, high-rise residential, education, healthcare, build-to-rent, and student accommodation sectors.
  • Supported by internal sales, PR, and marketing teams using Barbour ABI and other project lead generation tools.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Field sales experience within the external building envelope sector.
  • Knowledge of the specification sales process.
  • Background in rainscreen cladding, EWI, curtain walling, facing bricks, facades, fire boards, insulation, render systems, or other façade solutions is advantageous.
  • Strong new business drive, capable of opening doors and building brand visibility.
  • Well-organised, structured, and self-motivated, with a track record of sales growth.
  • May suit someone from a lesser-known brand looking to make an impact and build a market presence.
