Job Opportunity: Specification Sales Consultant

Altro is recruiting for a Specification Sales Consultant to join our Altro Specification North team. The team consists of 11 members, including 2 Key Account Managers for Social Care, 2 for Leisure Retail and Hospitality, 1 for Healthcare and Education, and 5 Specification Consultants covering architects, designers, and end users from Worcester to Scotland.

Responsibilities:

1. Gain and convert specifications by building strong, trusted relationships with architects and designers across the North of England, focusing on postcodes DN, HU, WF, HD, HX, BD, LS, HG, YO, TS, DL, DH, SU, CA, LA, FY, BB, BL, PR, WN, L, WA, with particular emphasis on Leeds, Liverpool, and York.
2. Work within core sectors of healthcare and education, collaborating with colleagues to build project pipelines and oversee projects to completion.
3. Deliver CPDs, commercial presentations (both online and in person), and attend networking events outside of normal hours.

This position is available due to retirement after 25 years of service, with a start date of 1st July 2025 and a phased handover period.
