Job summary

NHS Lothian is seeking a Specialty Doctor in General Paediatrics to join the Medical Paediatrics, Women and Children’s Services team at St John’s Hospital, Livingston.

The post is full‑time (40 hours per week), permanent/fixed term with potential to work at other NHS Lothian sites. Applicants must have GMC registration and Licence to Practice, with at least four years of postgraduate training or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT)
• Or equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas

A doctor appointed to this grade:
