NHS Lothian’s Medical Paediatrics, Women and Children’s Services at St John’s Hospital, Livingston, invites applications for Specialty Doctor in General Paediatrics. Two posts are available: one substantive and one fixed-term for 12 months.

You will join a range of paediatric services across NHS Lothian with opportunities for clinical leadership and service development. Applicants must hold GMC registration and Licence to Practice, and have completed at least four years of postgraduate training,

A doctor appointed to this grade:

shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);

• shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);

• shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas
