Job summary

NHS Lothian invites applications for two permanent/fixed-term full-time posts in Medical Paediatrics, Women and Children’s Services, based at St. John’s Hospital, Livingston.

The posts require GMC registration and Licence to Practice, with four years of postgraduate training including two in a specialty programme or LAT, or equivalent qualifications. Applications welcome for permanent or 12-month fixed-term posts, part of NHS Lothian’s commitment to high-quality paediatric care.

A doctor appointed to this grade:
shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);

And

• shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);

Or

• shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas
