NHS Lothian is advertising a Specialist Doctor in Community Paediatrics based at St Johns Hospital, Livingston, with a 0.5 WTE substantive post. The appointee will join an experienced paediatric team within the Community Paediatrics service and may work across NHS Lothian sites as required.

Applicants must have full GMC registration and a Licence to Practise, with a minimum of 10 years’ medical work since qualification and six years in a relevant specialty.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and Licence to Practise.
• Minimum of 10 years’ medical work experience since obtaining the primary medical qualification.
• At least six years in a relevant specialty within the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades, or equivalent overseas experience.

Responsabilités

• 0.5 WTE substantive post with clinical responsibilities based in the West Lothian Community Paediatrics Department.
• Join an established paediatricians and therapists team and work across NHS Lothian sites as required.
• No commitment to child protection duties or acute receiving unit work in this post.
