An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Manchester, Greater Manchester. This locum position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the management of complex cases, supporting the consultant team, conducting ward rounds and managing ward jobs, reviewing patient cases and providing feedback, attending relevant patient meetings, and participating in clinical audits and research activities. Additionally, you will engage with local and national networks to elevate the profile of our centre and ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice
• Experience in Adult Psychiatry
• Section 12 is essential
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
