Job summary
Applicants are invited to apply for a Specialty Doctor post in General Medicine based at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest. You will be part of the medical on-call team and supported to develop a specialist interest in medicine.
These posts will join colleagues in a dynamic general medicine service within the Health Board, supporting the Welsh Government's NHS Wales vision. We are also committed to expanding this team with more resident grade doctors.
This role is ideal for those seeking entry into a specialty training programme, working towards MRCP/CESR, or pursuing a non-training post.
Applicants must have full GMC registration and at least four years of postgraduate training, with two in a relevant specialty or equivalent experience. The Postgraduate Department offers lectures, meetings, and access to extensive resources to support your career development.
Withybush General Hospital is a busy regional hospital providing a range of services including general surgery, trauma, orthopaedics, and emergency medicine, with support from regional renal and neurology services and a large ICU facility.
