Zusammenfassung

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor for All Age Community Eating Disorders to work within the Eating Disorder Multi-disciplinary team.

The post involves collaboration with the consultant, Service Manager and senior clinicians to ensure comprehensive care for young people with eating disorders, with emphasis on physical health risk management in line with MEED guidance.

Qualifikationen

• Clinical assessment and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work within a MDT and with senior clinicians
• Experience with pharmacological management and medication reviews

Aufgaben

• Work within the Eating Disorder MDT to provide comprehensive packages of care for young people with eating disorders
• Conduct initial assessments including risk assessment and develop care plans with consultant support
• Provide consultation to other team members and professional networks as required
• Manage complex cases with acute physical and psychological risks under consultant support
• Perform routine medication reviews and participate in care plan reviews and formulations with the consultant
• Collaborate with CYP and adult ED teams, participate in multi-agency partnerships and liaison with services
• Contribute to routine clinical tasks such as consultations and therapy as negotiated
• Assess referrals and review emergency referrals with MDT support
