Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Community Eating Disorder Team at Hopewood and Mandala Site. You will work with NHS consultants and academic colleagues to provide psychiatric expertise for young people and adults within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, pharmacological management, MH Act applications when required, and leading care plan reviews under supervision.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and license to practise (UK).
• 3 years' clinical experience in mental health with at least 3 months in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Ability to deal with complex clinical situations and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of Children's Act and Mental Health Act (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric expertise within MDT and support the Consultant.
• Assess and manage risk, interpret medical tests, and apply MH Act where appropriate.
• Lead and chair care plan reviews and CPA discussions with consultant support.
• Support learning, teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration within the team.
