The Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Speciality Doctor to join the Community Eating Disorders Service. The post involves assessing and managing patients with eating disorders, delivering care across psychiatric and general medical needs within a multidisciplinary team.

The role is predominantly outpatient-based with a 10 programmed activity schedule across five days, requiring full GMC registration and Section 12(2) approval or eligibility.

Competenze

• Part 1 MRCPsych or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Assess and manage patients with eating disorders, covering psychiatric and medical care.
• Support consultants across the service, including providing emergency care.
• Carry out full medical and mental state assessments and physical exams.
• Manage outpatient assessments and follow-ups with new patients to follow-up at 1:5.
• Liaise with referrers and other trusts about patient care as needed.
• Regularly review risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Support non-medical members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Lead team meetings and clinical reviews as required.
• Communicate with relatives, carers, GPs and other disciplines.
