Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Business Manager to lead patient pathways within the Specialty Business Units (SBUs) and drive performance targets and service improvements across ENT, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Special Care & Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

You will manage a diverse team and work closely with Clinical Directors and Matrons to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient pathways within Specialty Business Units (SBUs) and ensure delivery of quality care and performance targets.
• Provide line management to the performance and capacity teams and other staff within SBUs.
• Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Matrons to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Oversee budget and financial management of the Directorate, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
• Foster a culture of autonomy, engagement, and compassionate, patient-centred care across the Trust.
