About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and is interested in autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the development of autonomous motorsports.

The role is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing and racing events. Flexibility in work schedule is required, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
2. Mechanical Tasks: Perform disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure peak performance and safety.
3. Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and setup adjustments.
4. Logistics: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
5. Workshop Supervision: Maintain an organized workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
6. Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Mechanical Knowledge: Expertise in high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
2. Electronics Skills: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems, including steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
3. Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
4. Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
