About the Role:

We seek a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in high-energy racing environments and is interested in autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will influence our track performance and autonomous motorsports development.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing and racing events. Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
  • Mechanical Excellence: Perform mechanical maintenance including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.
  • Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during races, including pit stops and setup adjustments.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.
  • Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
  • Safety Stewardship: Enforce safety regulations, including flag protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and optimization.
  • Electronics Competency: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
  • Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
  • Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Valid Drivers License
