Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a full-time Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide assessment, intervention and rehabilitation for adults in community and ward settings across Hexham, Alnwick and Berwick area. You will join a supportive SLT team with opportunities to develop complex skills in dysphagia, FEES and endoscopy, and to contribute to CPD.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience with dysphagia assessment and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and rehabilitation to adults in community and ward settings.
• Develop and deliver complex dysphagia care including FEES/endoscopy services.
• Lead and supervise teams, contribute to CPD and practice education.
• Collaborate within MDT to ensure patient-centered care.
