Job summary

Pulse Staffing Limited is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Speech & Language Therapy Service. The role focuses on expert assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.

You will work autonomously as a clinician, contribute to MDT pathways, and support individuals with long-term, progressive conditions across acute, community, and specialist settings.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered SLT with current registration.
• Significant experience with dysphagia, complex needs, and AAC.
• Ability to work autonomously at a highly specialist level.
• Strong MDT communication and leadership skills.
• Experience supervising junior clinicians is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.
• Lead complex case management and clinical decision-making.
• Support MDT colleagues across acute, community and specialist settings.
• Contribute to service development and pathway improvements.
• Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and assistants.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical documentation.
