Job summary
Randstad Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for full-time, term-time work in Sussex. The role focuses on providing specialist support for students with SEN in several schools. You will assist in class, support learning, and help maintain a positive learning environment across groups and 1:1 sessions.

Qualifications
- Be able to support learners with various SEN needs.
- GCSE Maths and English at pass grade.
- Previous care, education or childcare experience (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Assist students during class making sure they are on track
- Liaise with class teacher to ensure a smooth running class
- Supervision of children during their playtimes/lunch breaks
- Enabling learners to access the curriculum
- Support the pastoral needs of the learners
- Be an active part in setting the learning environment
- Supporting learners on a 1:1 basis and part of a small group in a range of activities throughout the day
- Using your interests to engage students in learning
