Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of The Endeavour Multi Academy Trust for multiple Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in Tamworth. You will aid pupils aged 11–19 with EHCPs, providing inclusive learning support in and out of the classroom.

Flexible day-to-day supply, regular weekly work, and longer-term placements are available, with opportunities to develop SEND experience and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• Experience with children or young people with additional needs is desirable.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach with strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 11–19 with EHCPs in and outside the classroom.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive learning activities.
• Build positive relationships to promote independence and personal development.
• Support social, emotional and communication needs and monitor progress.
