Job summary

Fleet Education Services is seeking experienced EYFS/Primary Tutors specialising in SEND/SEMH to deliver personalised, in-person tuition across Camden. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support learners in your community by providing academic and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Level 6 qualification is required.
• At least 6 months teaching or tutoring experience in a specialist SEND/SEMH setting.
• Right to work in the UK without restrictions.
• Experience using Makaton and/or PECS.
• Experience supporting non-verbal learners.

Responsibilities

• Delivering in-person tuition in learner's homes, school or public setting.
• Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons.
• Maintaining progression by submitting accurate session reports and providing constructive feedback.
• Liaising with parents, carers, social workers, SENCO's and other professionals.

What You’ll Need

• A completed Bachelors degree or Level 6 qualification


• Prior 6 months’ teaching or tutoring experience with in a specialist setting or SEMH school


• Right to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours


• Applicants must have experience using Makaton and/or PECS.


• Experience supporting non-verbal learners is essential
