Job summary

Fleet Education Services is seeking experienced EYFS/Primary Tutors specialised in SEND/SEMH to deliver personalised, in-person tuition across Camden. This is more than tutoring—it's transformation, empowering learners to believe, achieve, and grow.

Your responsibilities include delivering in-person tuition, planning engaging lessons, and maintaining progression through reports and feedback, while coordinating with parents and professionals to support each learner holistically.

Qualifications

• 1) 6 months teaching or tutoring experience in specialist SEND/SEMH settings.
• 2) Experience using Makaton and/or PECS.
• 3) Experience supporting non-verbal learners is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person tuition in learners' homes, schools, or community settings.
• Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons.
• Submit accurate session reports and provide constructive feedback to parents/carers.
• Liaise with parents, carers, social workers, SENCOs and other professionals.

What you’ll need:

• Prior 6 months’ teaching or tutoring experience with in a specialist setting or SEMH school
• Right to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours
• Applicants must have experience using Makaton and/or PECS.
• Experience supporting non-verbal learners is essential
