Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN satellite site in Esher. The role focuses on pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism, delivering personalised learning in a structured, supportive environment.

You will collaborate with therapists and teaching assistants, adapting lessons to individual needs and EHCP targets, ensuring safe, engaging learning experiences. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:45am–3:15pm.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching in a specialist SEN setting or supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Strong understanding of Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and related needs.
• Ability to plan creative, accessible, and meaningful learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons meeting individual pupil needs and learning goals.
• Support pupils with SLD, Autism, and associated needs; adapt curriculum and resources accordingly.
• Develop communication, social, and sensory regulation skills; promote participation and engagement.
• Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and learning plans.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the specialist SEN team to support pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
