Job description

We are recruiting a dedicated Specialist Project Worker to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support within a psychologically informed environment (PIE). You’ll be part of a small, dynamic team helping women rebuild their lives and move towards independence.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people? Join a brand-new, purpose-driven project in Southend-on-sea, supporting individuals who have experienced long-term rough sleeping and complex challenges.

  • 37.5 hours per week (Will include providing evening and weekend cover across all sites in accordance with the work rota.)

About the job:

  • Deliver tailored, one-to-one support for residents with multiple disadvantages
  • Co-produce activities and interventions with a focus on recovery and empowerment
  • Provide intensive housing management and life skills coaching
  • Maintain accurate support plans, risk assessments, and records
  • Act as an advocate, linking residents to key health, housing, and support services
  • Work collaboratively with partners through multi-agency models

About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting people with complex needs
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-focused practice
  • Strong communication and crisis management skills
  • Passion for person-centred, anti-oppressive support
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Housing or equivalent (desirable)
