You will help deliver high-quality pharmacy services for clinical trials involving Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs), working with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust.
About You:- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Relevant dispensary experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally with exposure to clinical trials or investigational medicinal products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Main duties of the jobReporting into the Senior Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the daily delivery of the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Service, ensuring safe dispensing of clinical trial medications in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), operating within the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Dispensary and Pharmacy Aseptic Unit.
- Collaborate with research staff, clinical trial investigators, and sponsors during the set-up and ongoing maintenance of clinical trials.
- Work as an accredited checking technician to maintain standards of accuracy and safety.
