We have the opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our progressive Pharmacy Research team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust and contribute to research and development within the trust.
The Pharmacy Research department oversees a portfolio of commercial and non-commercial studies. Main duties include dispensing and accuracy checking of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs), writing Dispensing Protocols, maintaining Pharmacy Site Files, and liaising with the R&D team and study sponsors to ensure high standards in clinical trial setup and delivery. The successful candidate will also support the Aseptic Services team by acting as a Pre and In-Process checker for chemotherapy, Parenteral Nutrition (PN), and Central Intravenous Additive Service (CIVAS), including aseptic research preparations.
Ideal candidates are motivated, enthusiastic, able to work under pressure, and work well in a team. Experience with IMPs and in an Aseptic Services Pharmacy environment is desirable.
The candidate must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC, holding a Level 3 Qualification in Pharmacy Services, with a Certificate of Accreditation as a Checking Technician and significant post-qualification experience. Physical ability to work within a Pharmaceutical Isolator and access stock from high and low shelving is required.
