Job Title: Pharmacist - Medicines Management

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is a modern, forward-thinking teaching hospital providing acute care to a population of over 1 million. We have implemented electronic prescribing and medicines administration across all inpatient wards, the Emergency Department, and outpatient services, including a recent rollout in response to COVID-19. Our strong links with the University of East Anglia support our commitment to education and innovation in pharmacy practice.

The Pharmacy Department leads in Medicines Management and innovative pharmaceutical practices, creating new roles such as pharmacists in pre-op assessment, outpatient clinics, the Emergency Department, and admissions units.

Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic pharmacist to support our clinical ward services and medicines safety/management initiatives. Responsibilities include policy development, audits, staff training, and developing high-quality clinical pharmacy services within our teams.

Additional Information

• Work a 1 in 10 weekend rota with corresponding days off and at least one bank holiday per year.
• Participation in an on-call pharmacy service may be required.
• All rotas are subject to review.
