Are you a qualified Pharmacist looking for a unique opportunity?

EPUT Pharmacy is seeking qualified pharmacists with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team as a Band 6/7 clinical pharmacist. Joining our team of specialist mental health pharmacists, we offer roles that support your professional development and provide learning opportunities.

We support your development through various forums and have recently partnered with other mental health Trusts across the region to offer an exciting new psychopharmacology teaching programme.

You will be supported to develop clinical skills via funded postgraduate study/qualification and to enhance management skills.

Role-specific requirements:
  1. Band 7: At least 2 years post-registration experience, completion or ongoing completion of a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification, and well-developed clinical pharmacy skills.
  2. Band 6: Applications are welcome from newly qualified pharmacists or those transitioning from other sectors. A structured development pathway will support progression to Band 7.
Key responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, improving medicines-related patient care and supporting medicines management services.
  • Participate in training, education, and audits.
  • Support a variety of services including adult, older adult, secure, and learning disability services across multiple locations.
  • Deliver clinical services, contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds, and provide medicines education to patients, carers, and staff.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, supported by senior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience in psychiatry is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
