Job summary

AK Dental Care in Northampton is seeking a Specialist Periodontist to join a growing multidisciplinary referral practice. The role begins at one day per month with potential to expand to two–four days as the service develops.

The successful candidate should be on the GDC Specialist List in Periodontics (or awaiting registration), clinically skilled, warm and collaborative, and willing to contribute to study evenings and education for the referral community.

Qualifications

• Registered on the GDC Specialist List in Periodontics or awaiting registration.
• Clinically skilled and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Warm, empathetic and able to communicate clearly with patients.
• Willing to contribute to study evenings and professional education.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop a specialist periodontal service within a multidisciplinary referral practice.
• Collaborate with endodontics, implant dentistry and restorative dentistry on complex cases.
• Contribute to study evenings and educational sessions for the referral community.
• Provide high-quality periodontal care and maintain patient relationships.
