Job summary

PortmanDentex in Hale Barns is seeking a GDC-registered Specialist Periodontist to join The Square Dental. The role offers a fully private practice with an established referral network and a flexible weekly session (1 session per week, 2:00pm–7:30pm).

Start date is October 2026, with prospective support from an on-site hygienist. You will take over the current specialist position, working with internal and external referrals to deliver high-quality periodontal care while expanding your private

Qualifications

• Must be GDC-registered as Specialist Periodontist
• Must hold a postgraduate Master’s qualification in Periodontics
• Experience in private practice preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Take over an established referral base from internal and external sources
• Work within an all-private practice with a strong support team
• Collaborate with on-site hygienist to deliver comprehensive periodontal care
• Utilise an existing patient base and build further referrals

The Square Dental in Hale Barns is looking to welcome a Specialist Periodontist to join our established private practice, following the departure of our current specialist on 13th October.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist clinician to take over an established referral base, with referrals coming from both internal and external sources.

About the role

• Current session is Tuesday, 2:00pm-7:30pm
• Flexibility around the working day for the right clinician
• Fully private practice
• Established internal and external referral network
• Existing patient base and opportunity to build further
• Hygienist on site, providing excellent opportunities for collaborative periodontal care
• Like-for-like replacement of the current Specialist Periodontist

About you

We're looking for a GDC-registered Specialist Periodontist who holds the relevant postgraduate Master's qualification and is passionate about delivering high-quality specialist periodontal care.

We are open to clinicians with a range of periodontal interests and experience, provided they are a recognised Specialist in Periodontics.
