Job summary

Oxford Natural Healthcare Professionals is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to support a specialist palliative care service in Newry. The role involves delivering high-quality OT to patients with complex needs and working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance independence, comfort and quality of life.

Candidates should have 3+ years' OT experience, HCPC registration, and a WFOT-recognised qualification. A UK driving licence and ability to travel to clients or sites is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' post-graduate Occupational Therapy experience.
HCPC registration is required.
WFOT-recognised Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Full UK driving licence with car or suitable arrangement.
Experience in postural management and specialised seating systems.
Experience delivering OT in palliative care settings.

Responsibilities

Provide OT interventions to patients with complex palliative care needs.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Support independence, comfort and quality of life.
Assess and recommend adaptive equipment for patients.
