Job summary

Direct Medics are partnering with a Hospice in Newry to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist on a part-time basis for 1 year to cover maternity leave. The role requires HCPC registration, 3 years post-registration experience, and expertise in postural management, seating systems, adaptive equipment, and fatigue/anxiety/dyspnoea management.

Right to live and work in the UK is essential; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as an OT.

Job Description

Direct Medics are working in partnership with a Hospice in Newry to find a Band 6 Occupational Therapist on a part time basis for 1 year (Maternity leave cover).

Requirements

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist

• 3 years post registration experience working as an Occupational Therapist

• Experience in postural management assessment and prescription of specialist seating systems including static and mobile systems

• Experience of assessment for adaptive equipment e.g perching stool, shower chairs

• Experience if possible in the treatment and management of fatigue, anxiety and dyspnoea

• Right to live and work in the UK
