An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Neuro-Rehab team based at Colchester Hospital.
We are an established multi-disciplinary outpatient and community team providing long-term management for neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone Disease, and traumatic brain injury. The team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, a Specialist Nurse, and Rehabilitation Assistants. We collaborate closely with various agencies, including the voluntary sector, to deliver person-centred care.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with experience working with neurological conditions and within community settings.
This role is based in the Neurological Rehabilitation Department at Colchester General Hospital. Due to community clinics and outreach, a car owner and driver are essential.
This is a fixed-term role until 31st March 2026
