An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Neuro-Rehab team based at Colchester Hospital.
We are an established and respected multi-disciplinary outpatient and community team providing long-term management for people with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neurone Disease, and traumatic brain injury. The team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, a Specialist Nurse, and Rehabilitation Assistants. We work closely with various agencies, including the voluntary sector, to provide person-centred care.
You should be an excellent communicator with experience working with neurological conditions and in community settings.
The post is based in the Neurological Rehabilitation Department at Colchester General Hospital. Due to community clinics and outreach, a car owner and driver is essential.
This is a fixed-term role until 31st March 2026.
