Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree and State Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Has worked as a qualified OT within the designated service area.
• Broad knowledge of current best practice in OT with reference to Learning Disabilities and CAMHS.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and young people with learning disabilities and mental health needs referred to LD-CAMHS.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and specialist care programmes.
• Co-work with LD CAMHS team to develop the service and run groups for the client group.
• Liaise with other professional groups as indicated.
