Job summary

Sciensus is seeking a Specialist Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in patients' homes around Milton Keynes. The role helps facilitate early discharge from hospital and prevent unnecessary admissions as part of a supportive MDT.

You will work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days (occasional weekends) covering Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, with a full UK driver’s license and autonomous clinical decision-making essential.

Qualifications

  • RGN (Part 1) on the NMC Register.
  • Experience in an acute care setting with independent clinical decisions.
  • Experience undertaking clinical assessments and administering sub-cutaneous injections.
  • Experience caring for IV devices and administering IV therapies.
  • Full UK drivers licence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and patient ‑focused Registered Nurse to play a key role in delivering high quality‑ care beyond the traditional hospital setting.

As a Specialist Nurse, you’ll support patients in their own homes, helping to facilitate early discharge from hospital and prevent unnecessary admissions, while delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.

You’ll work as part of a supportive multi‑disciplinary team, making a real difference to patient outcomes and experiences every day.

This role will see you working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days (including occasional weekends) and will cover the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas so being confident on the road is a must.

What you’ll be doing

As a Specialist Nurse, you’ll be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care in line with patient needs, KPIs.

  • Delivering high quality‑ nursing care to patients in their home environment

You’ll need
