Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to support children and families across NHS-funded and private pathways. You will conduct neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD, contribute to diagnostic discussions with a multidisciplinary team, and deliver comprehensive feedback and reports to families.

Qualifications

• Registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England is required and must be active.
• Minimum 1 year of professional registration in neurodevelopmental settings (autism/ADHD).
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
• Excellent time management and caseload organisation; able to work within MDT settings.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and remote neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
• Collaborate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Provide clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports and diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs and participate in clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid role).
