Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services seeks a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to support neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people. You will help ensure timely, accurate diagnoses and appropriate support across NHS-funded and private pathways.

Join a multidisciplinary team with hybrid working, ongoing CPD, and a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and have relevant registration.

Qualifications

• HCPC/NMC/GMC or SWE registration for UK practice.
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism/ADHD in children/young people.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience using standard diagnostic tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R).

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Carry out remote developmental history interviews with parents via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Provide clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports with diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs and maintain records.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid role).
