Job summary

Chandlers Field Primary Academy is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join the ASD Centre. You will assist in delivering specialist provision, care and supervision for pupils with diverse needs, supporting their learning in a safe and encouraging environment.

Starting 01 September 2026, this part-time role offers 31.25 hours per week (08:30–15:15, Monday to Friday) with a focus on children with neurodiversity and social communication difficulties.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how children learn in a school setting.
• Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils.
• A can-do attitude, humour, and initiative.
• Level 3 Diploma in supporting teaching and learning is desirable but not essential.
