Markel International in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Insurance Broker to join our growing broking team. You will manage your own portfolio, place specialist risks and build relationships with insurer partners, with a clear path to career progression.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 plus monthly bonus, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, and private medical cover. You will develop specialist commercial broking expertise within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.

Formación

• Insurance broking experience or transferable brokerage experience.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with a commercial mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Generate, place and manage insurance business across specialist and high-risk sectors.
• Obtain quotations from insurer panels and open-market providers.
• Negotiate premiums and terms with insurers.
• Manage policies from inception through renewal and handle mid-term adjustments.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Support business growth through proactive account management.
