Birmingham Dental Hospital within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Specialist Implant Dental Nurse to join the Restorative 2 nursing team. The post requires a post qualification in Implant Nursing with evidence of CPD and an Implant Case Log.

Flexibility is needed across the Dental Service, with working days including Wednesday and Thursday, and potential shifts across Monday to Saturday 08:00–20:00 to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Requires post qualification in Implant Nursing and evidence of CPD and Implant Case Log.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and monitor patients for dental treatment, providing pre and post operative instructions as required.
• Provide chair side assistance and postoperative instructions.
• Assist in the general care of the surgery including dental equipment and instruments and arrange repairs as required.
• Ensure medical emergency drugs and equipment are available and up to date.
