Academics is seeking an ICT teacher to join a SEMH and Trauma-informed setting in Thorne and Hatfield. You will plan personalised ICT lessons, adapt to EHCP targets, and support pupils with SEN including ASC, ADHD and SEMH.
Small classes (around 15 pupils aged 6–16) and a multi-disciplinary team offer collaborative support in a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Applicants should have QTS or equivalent, SEN teaching experience, and a good understanding of SEMH and related needs.

Salary: £145 - £210 (Paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, depending on experience) + Holiday pay
Academics is an agency recruiting specifically for an ICT teacher to work within a SEMH and Trauma informed setting where students present with SEMH and sensory needs. This is an exceptionally important role in enabling engagement and education for some of the most vulnerable children in education.
The role is for an ICT teacher working in an independent SEMH and Trauma informed setting. The setting has a bespoke curriculum, involving forest schools and drumming with purpose-built cabins to cater for sensory learning when required. Planning is required.
You will work within multi-disciplinary teams with very small class sizes there are a total of 15 pupils on site, with ages ranging from 6 to 16 years.
