Job summary

Academics has a Specialist ICT Teacher role in Doncaster within a SEMH and Trauma informed setting. The position requires QTS or equivalent and experience with SEN, including Autism and ADHD, with a bespoke curriculum and therapeutic support structures.

You will plan and deliver lessons, align with EHCP targets, and maintain a calm, nurturing classroom. Competitive daily rate (£145 - £210) paid weekly, term-time only, with flexible SEN opportunities and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Previous SEN teaching experience or strong knowledge of specialist education.
• Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and additional learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to commute to Doncaster.

Specialist ICT Teacher - SEMH and Trauma Informed Setting

Location: Doncaster

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £145 - £210 (Paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, depending on experience) + Holiday pay

Academics is an agency recruiting for a Specialist ICT Teacher to work within a SEMH and Trauma informed setting where students present SEMH needs in addition to some non-verbal students in Doncaster. This is an exceptionally important role in enabling engagement and education for some of the most vulnerable children in the Education and Training sector.

The role:

The role is for a Speacialist ICT teacher working in an independent SEMH and Trauma informed setting in Doncaster. The setting has a bespoke curriculum, involving forest schools and drumming with purpose-built cabins to cater for sensory learning when required. Planning is required.
