Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust's Peterborough City Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Service Assistant to join the Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) team. You will hold a full NVQ level II in Pharmacy Services or equivalent dispensing qualification and provide technical support across the pharmacy service.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to the pharmacy teams ensuring safe, accurate, and timely tasks.
• Support the dispensing process and medicines management.
• Assist in receipt, storage, supply, and distribution of stock pharmaceuticals including IV fluids.
• Participate in outpatient/inpatient dispensing and ensure correct labeling and assembly.
