Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in Peterborough is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our small and dynamic Pharmacy team. You must possess a full NVQ level II in Pharmacy Services or equivalent dispensing qualification, and you will contribute to safe, accurate dispensing and timely service.

Working in a busy environment, you will assist with the storage, supply and distribution of stock pharmaceuticals, including intravenous fluids, and participate in in-/out-patient dispensing

Qualifications

• Full NVQ level II in Pharmacy Services or equivalent dispensing qualification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork in a pressured environment with a caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to the pharmacy teams across the service to ensure safe, accurate and timely tasks.
• Assist in the accurate receipt, storage, supply, issue and distribution of stock pharmaceuticals, including intravenous fluids to wards and external customers.
• Participate in the supply of medicines in the form of in- and out-patient dispensing, including accurate receipt, labeling and assembly.
