Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Specialist Grade Dermatologist to join our dynamic Dermatology team. This role is designed for a clinician who has developed expertise and clinical independence in dermatology and is looking to contribute to high-quality patient care across outpatient and community services. The post holder will play a key role in delivering specialist dermatology services, participating in multidisciplinary clinics, and supporting service development. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual committed to clinical excellence, education, and continuous professional development, within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Main duties of the job

1. Organise, manage, and be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in MPH in conjunction with consultant colleagues in the Dermatology Service.
2. Participate in the teaching of Foundation and Junior Doctors in clinic.
3. Maintain good working relationships with existing staff members in the Hospital.
4. Attend other Hospitals within the Trust if requested by the supervising Consultant.
5. Perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.

This is a permanent post suited to doctors with significant dermatology experience aiming for a senior level just below Consultant grade. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, playing a key role in service delivery and development.

Job responsibilities
