Job summary

Genpact, a leader in AI-powered transformation, seeks a Specialist - F&A to join its I2C team in a hybrid UK setting. The role focuses on cash allocation, accounts receivable management, and collaborative problem solving across departments to optimize collections and cash flow.

You will act as AR SME, maintaining SOPs, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring DRR accuracy. A background in finance and relevant certifications improve prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance; or a Master’s in Finance.
• Certifications in treasury and finance (CTP, FMVA/CFI) preferred.
• Strong AR and cash application knowledge with a focus on accuracy and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and process invoices via email/fax or mail.
• Understand cash allocation referencing customer remittances and provide validation reports.
• Allocate payments to invoices in line with remittances.
• Coordinate AR activities across entities and monitor aged receivables.
• Serve as Subject Matter Specialist for AR processes and value chain. Preference for real estate clients.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
• Handle client queries and information requests effectively.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end-to-end cash applications.
• Process cash applications ensuring DRR is timely, accurate, and confidential.
• Follow up on disputes and inquiries, coordinating across departments for resolution.
• Reconcile orders with customer books and validate credits/debits for collection or refunds.

Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
