Job Title: Specialist Engineer

Location: Kent (with frequent travel to client sites)

Salary: per annum (depending on experience) Overtime Bonus Scheme

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with overtime and on-call required)

Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Engineer to join a growing team that provides high-quality temporary HVAC solutions across the UK. This role will be based in Kent and will involve the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers as well as assisting with modifying existing pipework in plant rooms.

You’ll be working alongside a supportive team of engineers while taking the lead on key projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install service and maintain commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers
  • Modify existing pipework within plant rooms as required
  • Support with fault-finding on chilled water systems AHUs and air-cooled chillers
  • Work on commercial boilers (forced draft burners) using natural gas and oil
  • Oversee and guide other engineers on projects
  • Participate in the on-call rota to support emergency requirements outside of standard working hours
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial mechanical pipework boiler rooms and systems
  • Knowledge of commercial LTHW systems
  • Strong understanding of electrical services and control wiring
  • Commercial Gas Safe certification (essential)
  • F-Gas Refrigeration certificate (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean)Based locally to Kent depot
  • Flexible with working hours and able to attend call-outs
  • DBS check will be required
  • Boiler Management System (BMS) experience (preferred)
