Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian to provide expert nutrition input to adults with eating disorders in the community and Day Care, including the FREED pathway. The post supports a multi-disciplinary team and will involve complex dietary management and education for patients and carers.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration
• Experience delivering dietetic input for adults with eating disorders
• Ability to work in community and Day Care settings

Responsibilities

• Lead the Eating Disorders Nutrition and Dietetics provision for the north team.
• Provide specialist dietetic assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans for adults with complex needs.
• Signpost and advise health and social care professionals, carers and patients.
• Plan, implement and evaluate specialised dietetic interventions in community and inpatient settings.
• Develop and deliver treatment programmes using evidence-based guidelines.
